Audio Gateway (agw)

Syntax

The Audio Gatway runs as an active service agent, and is launched only by hm.

Description

The Audio Gateway (agw) is an active service agent which transcodes audio streams into a different format or bandwidth. It can also act as a proxy which forwards multicast video onto a unicast address. The client application, vat, contacts the host manager, causing an agw agent to be launched with the correct parameters. For more information, see "Using MeGa".
